Market: The Italian helmet and accessories manufacturer KASK today presented its new sub-brand KOO, which will initially focus on cycling goggles. In the future, however, they would also like to offer products in other areas of cycling. At the same time, the KOO Open was presented as the new manufacturer's first model.
The relatively young Italian manufacturer KASK has come a long way since it was founded in 2004: Team Sky equips what is probably the most successful professional cycling team in recent years, and the helmets in a wide range of price ranges are also very popular with hobbyists and amateurs . In addition to helmets, KOO now wants to produce high-quality goggles for cyclists in the future. The first prototypes of KASK goggles could already be seen at the Tour Down Under in January of this year - so they are now ready for series production.

Product news: KASK with their first own glasses at the Tour Down Under
Market: To date, the Italian manufacturer KASK has only been represented in the bicycle sector with its high-quality helmets. In the course of this year, they want to expand their portfolio to include cycling glasses. No details are known yet, but we will get a little foretaste of the still nameless glasses model at the Tour Down Under next week. If […]
However, the glasses will not come onto the market under the KASK brand as initially communicated, but instead the decision was made to create their own brand called KOO. The first model is called Open and the frame is - as you are used to from KASK - 100% produced in Italy. The glasses come from Zeiss and should therefore also meet the highest quality standards. The KOO Open will be available in a total of 12 (!) colors - so there should really be something suitable for almost every outfit.
However, not only great visual variability is popular with the Open, but thanks to the Airflow Active System, the glasses can be locked in three different angles: With this, you not only want to meet different anatomical requirements, but the wearer can also react quickly to different weather conditions. The temples are also clever, which are not folded inwards like in most other glasses, but are rotated forwards by means of a joint. The glasses can not only be stowed away in a space-saving manner, but are also better protected.
The KOO Open should be available in stores in the next few weeks at a price of €199.
