MTB cycling / video: A single trail adventure at its best awaited the teams of two at the third edition of the PERSKINDOL SWISS EPIC mountain bike stage race in mid-September. Embedded in the dreamy scenery of the Swiss Alps, the route led in five stages from Zermatt via Leukerbad to Verbier.
The PERSKINDOL SWISS EPIC stage race has been held since 2014. The race is open to both professionals and hobby bikers. The start is in teams of two who have to cover a distance of around 360 kilometers and 12.500 meters in altitude. In addition to the SWISS EPIC race format, a simplified format SWISS EPIC FLOW is also offered. The organizers of the race are MTB legend Thomas Frischknecht, Dany Gehrig and Joko Vogel.
The date for 2017 has already been set: from September 11th to 16th, the fourth edition of the PERSKINDOL SWISS EPIC stage race will lead from Grächen to Zermatt.
