The Franconian e-bike specialists from Haibike offer a sporty trekking bike that really offers a lot at a reasonable price. The SDuro's Yamaha mid-engine is compatible with a double chain ring, so the derailleur has 20 gears. The engine pushes hard; its performance can be finely dosed by pressing the pedal. This means you can approach slippery steep sections with a small gear or circle around obstacles. The wide handlebars allow a lot of control, but are a bit uncomfortable on longer tours because the sitting position is quite sporty. The suspension fork responds well and the luggage rack is firmly attached to the fender. The Yamaha drive is audible, but pleasantly unobtrusive for an e-bike.
