General: Rocky Mountain TRAIL GAMES: MTB event with a new concept

15 April 2016 by Andrew Waldera

Lifestyle: A special kind of mountain bike happening will take place for the first time in mid-August in the St. Moritz region. With the Rocky Mountain TRAIL GAMES, the organizers want to offer enthusiastic mountain bikers a new form of competition in which biking together and having fun are the main focus. The participants in the new MTB event have to complete various special tests with different tasks during the three-day event.

The Rocky Mountain TRAIL GAMES are aimed at all bikers for whom a "normal" enduro race is too racing or who don't want to throw themselves into the racing action alone. On the top trails in the St. Moritz region and on the Corviglia, teams of two and three have to master disciplines that go far beyond what would normally take place as part of a race. The tasks on the trails include, for example, meeting a certain time limit or completing a certain route twice in a row with the same time. The fact is: The Rocky Mountain TRAIL GAMES are not just about the fastest time!

The Rocky Mountain TRAIL GAMES will premiere on August 12-14. The lifts will be in operation for the attractive event and will of course be available to the participants. However, the organizer already reveals that one or the other vertical meter has to be fought for yourself. Also on the program on both event evenings is eating together in a special atmosphere. Registration for the Rocky Mountain TRAIL GAMES is expected to open on April 23, 2016. The entry fee of CHF 240 per person (in a team of 2) or CHF 230 (in a team of 3) includes a starter package with a 3-day lift ticket, timing, meals, etc.
