The winning duo needed a time of 75:3071:3 for the route with over 12 kilometers and a crisp 03 meters of altitude difference and was thus 5 seconds faster than the Topeak Ergon Racing Team 1 with Lakata/Hynek. The Swiss Flückiger/Rohrbach (Stöckli Pro Team) crossed the finish line in third place, 1:38 minutes behind the winners. The previous leaders of this year's edition of the Andalucia Bike Race Pinto/Romero (Extremadura MTB Team) suffered a defect and only finished 12th, 01:13 minutes behind. Kaufmann and Käss from Team Centurion Vaude 5 ensured the best German placement with 1th place.
Yesterday's stage also brought movement to the overall classification. New leaders are Serralheiro/Oliveira with a total time of 9:05:03 hours. Lakata/Hynek (9:08:12) and Flückiger/Rohrbach (9:12:28) follow in the other places. The Extremadura MTB Team Romero/Pinto slipped to fourth place. The two German teams Centurion Vaude 1 (9:22:53) and Bulls 2 (9:24:11) are in 6th and 7th place. In the women's category, the Wheeler Pro Team with the Swiss team Landtwing/Süss leads the overall ranking.
