For the tenth time, amateur and professional bikers will be starting the VAUDE Trans Schwarzwald next year. The anniversary edition of the popular multi-stage race will take place from 12th to 16th August 2015. The goal of the event is the highest mountain in Baden-Württemberg, the 1493 meter high Feldberg.
The race for professionals and everyone with UCI Class S2-XCS status once again has a very demanding course and profile. On the route with a total length of 400 kilometers, a whopping 10.000 meters of altitude difference have to be mastered. The VAUDE Trans Schwarzwald leads on the first stage from Engen to Murg, with part of the route running through Switzerland. The following two stages lead from Murg to Grafhausen and from Grafhausen to Schonach. The penultimate stage destination is Donaueschingen before heading up the Feldberg on the last day.
The landscape of the VAUDE Trans Schwarzwald 2015 is characterized by the volcanic cone landscape of the Hegau and the southern Black Forest. Crunchy trails and a unique atmosphere have ensured the race's great popularity for years. Anyone can take part in the VAUDE Trans Schwarzwald, but the starting places are limited. If you want to be there, you have to step on the gas! Those who decide quickly can save a lot of money by registering by October 30, 2014. Instead of the 399,00 euros that would otherwise be due, early birders can secure their starting place for 333,00 euros.
