General: Trek Bike Attack 2015: The starting shot will be given on August 9th

Lifestyle: On Sunday, August 777, 9, 2015 mountain bikers will plunge into the depths of the legendary Trek Bike Attack freeride race. 2000 meters of altitude must be destroyed as quickly as possible, but there are also a strenuous 140 meters of altitude uphill waiting for the downhillers.

The mass start takes place on the Parpaner Rothorn and continues over a distance of 18 kilometers to Churwalden. The riders can expect a mix of rugged scree, technical passages, short climbs and flowing sections - in short: everything that is fun! For a good grid position on Sunday, however, a confident run in qualifying on Saturday is required. Only those who demonstrate the necessary skills here can secure a good starting position for the race on Sunday.

As a special treat for the waiting spectators at the finish line, the mass start and impressions along the route will be broadcast directly to the marquee in Churwalden. The last starting places for the race will be allocated these days. The race was held for the first time in 1998. The freeride race from the Parpaner Rothorn to Churwalden has cult status and for many freeriders it is on the list of things that mountain bikers must have experienced in their lives.
