Market: Right on time for the start of the Tour de France, the US bike manufacturer Fuji presented its new aero bike. The transonic The bike was developed together with the pros of Team NetApp-Endura.
As a special feature of the bike, Fuji emphasizes its uncompromising design in terms of aerodynamics and rigidity. The time trial machine served as templates for the bike norcom and the track bike Track Elite.
The tube shapes were optimized in the wind tunnel. The transonic features internal cable routing, internal Di2 battery mount, direct mount brakes and a BB30 bottom bracket.
“We are delighted to be able to present our new aero bike together with NetApp-Endura at the Tour de France“, said Steve Fairchild, senior product manager at Fuji. “The riders wanted an aerodynamic bike that would perform well in all conditions and the mechanics wanted a bike that was easy to service. We believe that the Transonic meets these requirements.”
Starting next year, the end user will have a choice of seven models, which will cost between 1.799 and 5.999 euros, depending on the equipment.
