Long pants for cycling? The paddock usually splits into two sides. For some an absolute no-go, for others a tried and tested means of protecting themselves against cold, dirt and wind in winter and spring. The Forest pant comes in a simple and cool black / red look and looks high quality right from the start. The outer skin of Forest pant consists of 100 percent polyester and should therefore be completely wind and water resistant. The inner workings are a mix of 92 percent nylon and eight percent elastane, which creates pleasant flexibility. The trousers can be easily adjusted at the waist and quickly adjusted to any hip. In addition, the leg width can be adjusted with two snaps and a zipper at the bottom of the trousers.
The flexible fabric and the zippers on the leg ends make it easy to put on the Forest pant as child's play. The fabric leaves a very pleasant and warming impression right from the start. On the right thigh, in addition to the two pockets on the hips, there is a large pocket with two snap fasteners, in which you can easily stow your keys, phone or wallet. Another nice feature is the reinforced inside of the right leg, which serves as protection against the chain. The good fit of the pants is particularly noticeable on the bike. Due to the preformed knee, the Forest pant not even when seated and offers the driver a lot of freedom of movement.
Fortunately, the pants never get caught in the crankset or even in the chain because the pants can be adjusted very well to your leg. The 360-degree reflectors also offer good visibility for other road users, even on dark winter days.
However, the most important feature of such pants is the thermal insulation. And here, too, it can Forest pant convince. Wind, water and dirt can't harm it and it handles temperatures around freezing point so that you can fully devote yourself to the trail.

The firm yet flexible fabric of the Pearl Izumi Forest pant provides a high degree of protection and so you can drive through the cold spring days with courage. It convinces with an excellent fit at the waist as well as on the leg and protects the legs perfectly from wind and weather. With a price of 189,90 euros, it's really not a bargain, but you get a lot of pants for your money here.
