Spectrum: Didi Senft builds bizarre World Cup bike

16 April 2014 by the editorial office

He did it again. The Brandenburger Didi Senft, better known as a tour devil and designer of strange bicycles, has built a bicycle based on the upcoming World Cup in Brazil. And integrated into this 72 soccer balls and a figure of Christ.

The balls form the lettering Brasil and frame the Christ figure made of plywood, which is based on the attraction in Rio de Janeiro. In order to be able to present his bike in style, the Brandenburger traveled to Swiebodzin in Poland, where there is a statue of Christ that is almost identical to the one on Sugar Loaf Mountain.

The World Cup wheel is 4,28 meters long and 4 meters high. Senft will present it to the public on various TV dates and shows in the coming weeks. He would also like to display it himself at public viewing locations during the World Cup.
