Product news: Giant Full-E+: An all-mountain with a motor

Giant slides with the Full E+ an all-mountain e-bike with a Yamaha at its heart next generationmid-engine is. According to Giant, this is smaller, lighter and more powerful than its competition.

For the first time in the company's history, the world's largest bicycle manufacturer is offering an all-mountain e-bike in the premium segment. With a wheel size of 27,5 inches, it is the first full-suspension 650B e-bike. The bike is equipped with the new 130 millimeters smart linksuspension system and the Yamaha Next Generation drive including a 400 Wh battery.

The smart link-Suspension system has its main pivot at the level of the front chainring, which according to Giant leads to a significant reduction in drive influences. The new all-mountain e-bike will be available in two variants (0 and 1): The top model Full E+ 0 is equipped with a lowerable suspension fork and a height-adjustable one Contact switch-Seat post features internal cable routing – both hallmarks of a serious all-mountain bike. In addition, the Giant Full E+ 0 about RockShox Revelation RT3 DP Air 110-140 with lockout suspension fork, RockShox Monarch RT3-Damper, a SRAM X0 1×10-Rear derailleur, an FSA carbon crank, Magura MT4Disc brakes and a Schwalbe Nobby Nick-tires. Another highlight are the newly designed 27,5 wheels P-TRX. In this version, the model 4.999,90 euros.

This is also available Full E+ 1, which is characterized by a 10-speed Shimano Deore XTgears, Shimano disc brakes and Giant P-XC 27,5 wheels differs from the top model. Both Full E+models have a special underbody protection that protects the drive even in the toughest off-road applications. The Full E+ 1 costs 3.699,90 euros.
