cycling: Made in Kenya: Sky documentary about Chris Froome

9 January 2014 by the editorial office

Briton Chris Froome, who was born in Kenya, gave his Team Sky the second Tour de France victory in team history last year. Given his development, it was almost predictable that sponsor Sky would follow suit and make a film about Froome.

Froome kept a video diary during the tour. Excerpts from this can now be seen in the documentary, which takes him to his roots in Kenya and traces his development. His first coach David Kinjah also has his say.

The half-hour documentary Made in Kenya can now be viewed online in its entirety (English without subtitles). [Link]
