Spectrum: Video: Biking in the Big Apple with Casey Neistat

New Yorker Casey Neistat produced a funny yet shocking video. The bike friend got a $50 ticket from his colleagues in green for not using the bike lane. The policeman didn't want to admit that this is often not possible and calmly filled out the ticket while Casey stood outside in the rain.

From then on, Casey only rode on the bike path – without falling, which was impossible, as you can see in his clip.

The same scenario can also be seen in the big cities in this country. The current transport network is not sufficiently developed for cyclists. Too often there are no clearly marked bike lanes, leaving cyclists exposed to car traffic. And if there are cycle paths, they are often blocked...
