Bike tourists are asked about the most popular bike travel regions in Germany, where they preferred to be on the road in 2021. This survey of cycle tourists takes place annually. 1. Emsland/Osnabrück Land

In the Münsterland with its almost 4.500 kilometers of cycle paths, choosing the right route is often difficult. The 100 castles route leads past unique castles and palaces. Along the Ems, varied landscapes and small towns lure you to linger and enjoy.

5. Baltic Sea / Schleswig-Holstein

7. Mecklenburg Switzerland/Lake District

9. East Friesland
In Ostfriesland you always cycle along the water, either by the sea, along small canals or past untouched moor areas. Hardly any other cycling region has such a large variety of water bodies. Along the dykes you overlook parts of the region and have an unobstructed view of some of the water bodies.
The small towns offer an impressive contrast to the landscape with their lighthouses and impressive churches. The maritime flair and the lively hustle and bustle in the old towns invite you to linger and dream. The traditions and the East Frisian humor over a cup of tea always inspire visitors.
10. Spree Forest
