FOCUS e-bike test trekking

[vc_row] [vc_column] [vc_column_text]THE TREKKING BIKE

Bike tours on the Isar or Spree, trips to the beer gardens or to the museum and weekend trips with the kids: the trekking bike (trekking: hiking) with e-support really does cover almost everything, making it the most popular e-bike for everyday life. And vacation too. Why it is like that? The trekking bike impresses above all with its stiff frame, its relaxed - and yet slightly sporty - sitting position and its wide, slightly curved handlebars. This means: relaxation for the neck and back muscles.

As a touring bike for long distances, the Battery always energy content with: it can be 500 watt hours. That's easily enough for distances of up to 100 kilometers. Balanced weight distribution and thus optimal handling are available with the mid-engine; Rear-wheel motor and luggage together reinforce the rear-heaviness.

What should I put attention on? For the tourer, there should be at least nine gears (or more if you like). The faster and more comfortable gear change of the derailleur is crucial, especially on the mountain. But: This drive also needs more care for frequent drivers than the gears packed in a hub gear. A trekking bike should stop with hydraulic rim brakes (Maguras), better still with disc brakes; brakes come especially when driving downhill with luggage
- especially the coaster brake - clearly to their limits.

Tire: A good compromise between smooth running, puncture resistance and long mileage is required. Lighting technology has made rapid progress in recent years.
Everyday drivers can benefit from high-end emitters with the light output of a car headlight.

Particularly important on a long-distance bike: the right saddle; make arrangements with the dealer after purchase to try different saddles.
This is how you find out which one suits you exactly.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_basic_grid post_type=”post” max_items=”-1″ orderby=”meta_value_num” item=” 46439″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1462522007103-6f0f81b3-4633-9″ taxonomies=”5301″ meta_key=”_mom_review-final-score”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column] [/ vc_row]
