Test: Brooks is actually best known for its high-quality saddles and other accessories made of fine leather. Very few people know that the English also produce tools – to be more precise, multi-tools. We screwed with the Brooks Multitool MT 10 for a while.

Torx,T25
Phillips/slotted screwdriver
[/easy table]Minimalistic - that would probably describe the functionality of the Brooks Multitool MT10 quite benevolently. You really only get the most necessary tools - Allen wrench, Torx and screwdriver. Tire levers, spoke wrenches, chain rivet tools or the like are searched in vain. So the tool can really only be used for the most necessary, most basic repairs on the go.
tool quality
With the quality and the processing of the multi-tool, Brooksche traits clearly come into play again: the small tool is truly a delight to look at and feel. It starts with the supplied case (made of leather, of course), continues with the beautiful Brooks logo and ends with the really good tools. The keys all fit perfectly and the steel used makes a durable, high-quality impression.
handling
Brooks' tool is larger than most of the competition, which has positive and negative implications for working with it. The long tools give you more leverage and you can loosen tight screws relatively easily. However, problems can arise with the Brooks Multitool MT 10 in narrow spaces: Here it is sometimes difficult to even turn the screw because there is simply not enough space for the tool itself.
