Product news: With the new Trek Madone SL, the US manufacturer is rounding off its road bike portfolio based on its Madone SLR, in order to make the innovative Trek technologies accessible to even more riders.
With the new Trek Madone SL, the manufacturer offers a light and fast addition to the lineup of ultimate race bikes. With a 500 Series OCLV Carbon frame and a two-piece Bontrager bar and stem combo, the SL models are a little more affordable without sacrificing unparalleled aesthetics and podium-ready performance.
Due to its weight-optimized construction and the light 500 Series OCLV Carbon, the new Trek Madone is around 300 grams lighter than its predecessor and, thanks to optimized shapes, is even an additional 54 seconds per hour faster than the previous generation.
Trek's own IsoFlow technology also ensures first-class comfort on the new Madone. This not only reduces vibration and shock, but also keeps the weight down. This was also adopted based on the Trek Madone SLR top models and transferred to the entire SL platform.
