Uebler i21: This award-winning bike carrier makes e-bike tours and cycling holidays a pleasure. It scores points for its ease of use, low weight, and is sturdy enough for two e-bikes.
Bike transport made easy - that's what the specialist manufacturer Uebler has taken up with the i21 coupling carrier. The Franconian family business, which manufactures its products entirely in Germany, makes it as easy as possible to carry bicycles and e-bikes - you only have to bring the trailer hitch with you. Even the safe fixation of the carrier on it is easy, because thanks to the patented IQ fastener, it braces itself solely through its own weightwithout having to do much to help. Incidentally, that one is quite low at around 13 kilos, which makes handling easier on the one hand, but increases the payload on the other: Depending on the vertical load, two bicycles or e-bikes with a total weight of up to 60 kilos can be loaded. You don't even have to take the latter off – a practical drive-on rail is available as an accessory.
The bikes are securely fastened with wide rails for the tires, spacers and stable ratchet straps; anti-theft protection is of course also included. And off you go, whether on vacation or at the starting point of a bike tour, whereby the i21 does not have to remain on the clutch in the meantime: With a folded size of approx. 60 x 60 x 20 cm, it even fits in the spare wheel well of many cars ; a transport bag is also available. If you stop on the way, the loaded carrier can be angled by 60° using a foot pedal, which allows access to the trunk of the station wagon.
