Product news: The new Knog Plug StVZO bike lights are almost too good for use in the dark in simple elegance. Irrespective of the appealing look, the LED bicycle lamps of course fulfill their purpose: bring brightness into the dark. The lights are available individually for the front or rear, or as a twin pack.
Australian manufacturer Knog is launching a new series of bicycle lights just in time for the lighting season. Thanks to StVZO approval, nothing stands in the way of operation on public roads. The new lamps do not seem to be lacking in luminosity. The front lamp, equipped with white LEDs, is specified with 140 lumens and should offer a burn time of up to 2,5 hours. Integrated side lighting provides extra safety when driving at night. The burn time of the 10 lumen rear light is estimated by the manufacturer at 3,5 hours. With both Knog Plug StVZO lamps, the integrated lithium-polymer battery can be easily charged via micro-USB, a low charge level is indicated by an LED light.
The Knog Plug StVZO lamps are operated using a single button, one light mode is available. The tool-free mounting on the frame or the seat post with the Velcro fastener should be just as easy and uncomplicated. The waterproof cases are made of TPU soft touch rubber coating and are available in three different colors. The front light is priced at 29,99 euros and the rear light is available for 24,99 euros. The twin pack containing both lamps costs 54,99 euros. Distribution is via Cosmic Sports.
