E-MTB news: As the third and final stage of the E-Bike World Tour 2022, the Verbier E-Bike Festival will also be the venue of the legendary E-Tour du Mont-Blanc from August 10th to 12th. The champions of the EBWT will be crowned at the three-day stage race. The starter list is impressive: Among others, Julien Absalon, Jose Hermida, Christoph Sauser, Ralph Näf and Gusti Wildhaber are at the start.
From 11th to 14th August 2022, the Verbier E-Bike Festival will take place for the fourth time. In the midst of a breathtaking alpine landscape, which is not stingy with fantastic routes, e-bikers of all kinds are welcome at the event. For four days, the famous Valais ski area of Verbier will become the epicenter of electrified biking. The complex and varied program includes gourmet tours, discovery tours and challenges such as the enduro race Bosch eMTB Challenge by Trek or the Val de Bagnes Challenge. In addition, several hundred bikes and 30 brands are waiting to be thoroughly checked in the e-bike test center.

In addition to victory and 20.000 euros in prize money, the coveted series title of E-Bike World Tour Champion 2022 is also at stake. The Swiss and UCI E-MTB World Champion of 2019 Nathalie Schneitter with the French UCI will be among the women - E-MTB Vice World Champion of 2021, Laura Charles, form a particularly strong duo. Léa Deslandes from France will of course give everything to defend the EBWT title.
Tip: This year, for the first time, the E-Tour du Mont-Blanc is open to amateurs. The three-day race covers a distance of 189 kilometers with a crisp 11.630 meters of altitude difference over spectacular trails. Registrations are currently still possible.
