Competition: With a bit of luck you can have fun riding – Velomotion is giving away a Diamant Zing+ e-trekking bike, which with its powerful engine and low weight is perfect for summer bike tours and commuting.
When the Nevoigt brothers presented their first bicycle in 1895, they certainly would not have thought that Diamant bikes would still be a hit almost 130 years later. But the large East German bicycle brand has achieved what many suppliers can only dream of: building on a long tradition without appearing like a museum, and offering contemporary bicycle technology without being interchangeable.
Diamant Zing – Sporting tradition
Last but not least, sportiness has always been a top priority at Diamant, and this can also be seen on the Zing+: The Bosch bike, which is available in three frame shapes (whereby Diamant clearly distances itself from the fact that monotube frames and trapezoidal frames are "women's bikes") is on the one hand with the CX -Drive and 500 Wh battery motorized in a sporty way, on the other hand it is comparatively light at less than 23 kilos, which has a positive effect on handling and driving characteristics. The bike rolls on wide 650B wheels; Nine-speed derailleur gears with a large range of gear ratios, disc brakes and a suspension fork with a locking function ensure optimum performance. The battery is attached to the outside of the frame and is therefore easily removable; the frame itself can be slimmer as a result.
Driving fun on any terrain
Whether city traffic or a sporty tour at the weekend: the Diamant Zing+ is extremely versatile and will not let its driver down on any terrain. And so the bike with the logo “diamond head over a bicycle handlebar” from the year 1911 a good choice for its 3.169 euros - or with a bit of luck for free, because Diamant Fahrradwerke GmbH kindly provided Velomotion with a copy of the Zing+ for the raffle. We keep our fingers crossed for all participants and are excited to see what "our" Diamant Zing+ experiences this summer...
