Raffle: Win a Sram Maven Expert brake kit

March 16, 2024 by Florian Nowak

Raffle: Ever lighter, faster or simply better mountain bikes have always been pushing the boundaries of what is possible. In addition to the general structure, the right components are also essential for such stress. The brakes in particular play a crucial role here and not only make a significant contribution to performance, but also provide a good dose of safety. If the installed brakes in the basic configuration can no longer meet the increased demands, an upgrade is necessary. Here comes Sram with its comprehensive Maven Expert brake kit, which has everything you need in your luggage for his bike upgrade. We're giving away a complete Sram Maven Expert brake kit worth 699 euros.

The powerful Maven brake system, which is tailored to off-road use, comes as an expert kit with all the necessary accessories. In addition to the Maven Ultimate brakes with the brake calipers anodized in Red Splash, there are also the matching rotors from 180 mm - 220 mm, adapters for mounting, various brake pads and MMX clamps. For professional maintenance, a bleeding kit including the appropriate oil is also part of the Maven Expert Kit.

Thanks to the large brake pistons with 18 and 19,5 mm diameter, the Maven Expert offers maximum braking performance. This is additionally supported by a newly designed 4-bolt brake caliper, which has extreme rigidity and excellent heat management, so that braking performance does not decrease even on longer descents.

Thanks to different coverings and a wide selection of rotor sizes, you can optimally adapt the Maven to your area of application. The Expert Box contains 1x 180 mm, 2x 200 mm and 1x 220 mm HS2 brake discs for those who want to try everything. Each jump in size represents a 14% performance advantage.

Organic brake pads offer a strong initial bite and less noise overall. Sintered brake pads are more resistant to sustained heat and offer better performance in wet or muddy conditions.
