According to the manufacturer, the new Rondo Ruut X 2022 is the sportiest bike in its own ranks to date and is said to combine both speed and an appealing look. It doesn't matter whether you're on the road or off-road, the sporty, balanced geometry should offer brisk riding characteristics and also show the best handling on gravel and easy trails. But cyclocross fans should also be delighted with the new Ruut X.
All of this is made possible by a moderate wheelbase and a corresponding steering angle. This gives the bike very direct control, which is said to be perfect for winding trails.
What's in the Rondo Ruut X 2022?
When developing the new Rondo Ruut, the engineers primarily had cyclocross races and fast gravel tours in mind. So it's no wonder that a high-quality carbon frame paired with light components such as carbon aero handlebars and carbon seat posts are used on this bike.
With the Shimano GRX shifting group, which is designed for sporty gravel tours, you not only get robust performance, but also real gravel suitability on top. In addition, the Ruut X comes with aerodynamic wheels from Hunt, which are fitted with fast 33 mm Schwalbe Gravel tires. Nevertheless, one has of course made sure that one can offer the driver enough versatility and off-road suitability with a tire clearance of up to 45 mm.
The manufacturer's famous TwinTip fork is also used on the new Rondo Ruut. This gives you the opportunity to change the character of the bike in just a few simple steps, in particular by making the steering angle more aggressive or more relaxed.
The new Rondo Ruut X 2022 is now available at an RRP of 3.799 euros.
