Spectrum: For die-hard cycling fans, a real highlight is currently being auctioned on the charity auction portal www.unitedcharity.de. The auction winner gets to accompany the South African cycling team Qhubeka ASSOS for three days at the Tour de France 2021. The proceeds of the auction will be donated to the Laureus Foundation, which finances social sports programs for disadvantaged children and young people.
Anyone who has always wanted to be part of the Tour de France – and not just as a spectator – now has the unique opportunity to do so. A very special auction is currently running on the charity auction portal www.unitedcharity.de. The winner will accompany the South African cycling team Qhubeka ASSOS as part of the team for three days in the 2021 Tour de France. This includes overnight stays in the team hotel, riding in the support vehicle and a glimpse behind the scenes. The auction runs until June 19. According to the auction portal, the entire proceeds of the auction will be forwarded directly to Laureus Sport for Good without deducting any costs. The Laureus Foundation follows the basic idea that social change can be promoted through sport. This goal is currently being implemented in social sports programs for children and young people at the Berlin, Bremen, Munich, Cologne and Stuttgart locations, among others. The prominent personalities who support Laureus Sport for Good include Maria Höfl-Riesch, Katarina Witt, Anna Schaffelhuber, Jan Frodeno, Roman Weidenfeller and Thomas Morgenstern. Of course, the projects can also be financially supported without participating in the auction.
