MTB News: The Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide in the heart of the Grisons Alps heralds the end of the season with two top-class bike events. Thanks to some adjustments, both the testRIDE from September 11th to 13th, 2020 and the Bike Kingdom Feast a week later can be carried out in a Corona-compliant manner. For both events, all visitors must register with personal information.
On the first weekend in June 2020, the Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide opened its doors punctually with the start of operation of the mountain railways in Arosa Lenzerheide. Due to the corona pandemic, however, the official opening ceremony and other events had to be cancelled. Fortunately, the situation has eased three months later and at least the end of the season can be celebrated properly - in compliance with the official requirements. In September, the new kingdom in the heart of the Grisons Alps will lure you in with two top-class bike events.
testRIDE
As part of the testRIDE from September 11th to 13th, 2020, the latest bikes and parts can be admired and tested extensively on four test tracks. About 40 exhibitors will be there and answer the probing questions of the visitors. There will be no side events, guided tours or parties this year. Since the number of visitors is strictly limited, we recommend acting quickly. All visitors must register in advance using the Bike Kingdom app with personal details and buy a ticket for CHF 10.00. In order to ensure any contact tracing, the area is no longer freely accessible, in contrast to previous events, and masks are also compulsory. The food stands are located outside the testRIDE area.
Bike Kingdom Feast
Just one week later, the Bike Kingdom Feast takes place with various bike races including children's and family races. The dual slalom, a sub-discipline of the "Dirt Royale", is spectacularly held on Friday evening in the dark on a lighted track. Also on the program for the weekend are a Junior Downhill Race, a Kids Cross Country Race and a Family Dual Slalom, in which a parent and a child will fight for victory. The event is rounded off by a small expo, food stands and a grill & chill on Friday and Saturday evening. All visitors to the Bike Kingdom Feast must register at the entrance and provide their contact details. Masks are of course mandatory on the entire site. Admission is free.
