Video: Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide – The Legend of Tommy G

13 May 2020 by Andrew Waldera

Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide

MTB News: The makers of Anthill Films met MTB star Thomas Genon aka Tommy G in the midst of the fantastic scenery of the newly launched Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide to shoot a new video. Despite a tight time frame of just two weeks, the result was a very entertaining film that perfectly showcases both the extraordinary skills of the Belgian slopestyle biker and the diversity of the bike region.

With the launch of Bike Kingdom and the unique shoot with Thomas Genon, the topic of mountain biking in Lenzerheide should be given the size and importance that has been worked towards in recent years. The people in charge in Lenzerheide are not content with just renaming the bike region, but are putting together a whole package with highlights. There is a new bike app released, a big bike festival at the end of the season and new trails. The makers of Anthill Films and Thomas Genon aka Tommy G were called to Lenzerheide in order to be able to present the versatility of the trails to the fullest. In the entertaining strip, the Belgian rocks in the rugged lunar landscape of the high alpine bike region, shoots down the World Cup course to Rob Warner's commentary and blows up the berms. When jumping over a kicker while Tommy G is still in the air, the crew has to extend the landing. Not only Cam and Tyler McCaul are amazed - it quickly becomes clear: The slopestyle star from Belgium is working on the legend of Tommy G in the Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide!

Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide

"It feels a bit crazy to be in this movie and see all these legends in it. I have the utmost respect for each of them. Their cameos make this movie very special! I really enjoyed filming at Bike Kingdom. There are so many incredible spots to discover here. In a single day you can shred typical bike park sessions and send super cool jumps, then blast down the World Cup route and enjoy the crazy landscape in the mountains on the great trails. That's something very special!” – Thomas Genon
