Radcross: The Dominator continues to dominate. Even in the sixth attempt, the competition failed to defeat Mathieu van der Poel in a cyclocross race this season. The Dutch world champion won the Ambiancecross in Wachtebeke in front of a Belgian duo. At the same time he celebrates his title defense.
Mathieu van der Poel fills the half dozen
6 races - 6 wins. This is the record of Mathieu van der Poel (Corendon – Circus) in the current cyclocross season. At the moment there is simply no way around the reigning world champion. The Dutchman also easily left the competition behind at the Ambiancecross in Wachtebeke. In the fifth lap, the exceptional athlete ignited the turbo - and could no longer be caught. Only in the final lap did he slow down and lost a large part of his lead as a result. The two Belgians complete the podium Tim Merlier (Creafin – Fristands) and Quinten Hermans (Telenet Baloise Lions). In the women's competition was European champion Yara Kastelijn (777) successful.
