Eurobike 2019/product news: Just in time for the Eurobike, Woom Bikes is presenting its first mountain bike and its first clothing collection, its first e-mountain bike. Everything for the very young cyclists among us.
With new bike models and its own clothing line, the children's bike specialist Woom Bikes wants to continue to pursue its goal and, in line with the slogan "pedal your planet", to offer children a wide range of opportunities to have fun and enjoy cycling outdoors.
Woom OFF mountain bike - light MTB fun
The new Woom OFF is Woom's first mountain bike for kids. This bike for off-road use is really something to be proud of. With a carbon fork and hydraulic disc brakes, despite its lightness (from 7,8 kg), it is robust and safe enough for rough discovery tours and offers well thought-out components. Of course, a certain style should not be missing with such a bike. The Woom OFF mountain bike is aimed at kids from 6 to 14 years and is intended to inspire children for outdoor mountain bike fun and get them away from the screens.
Woom e-mountain bike – tailwind ahead!
In addition to the OFF mountain bike, Woom is also presenting its first e-mountain bike. However, the name is still a secret. Since e-bikes for adults are already an integral part of the market, Woom Bikes decided to go in this direction with their children's bikes and to electrify the younger cyclists.
The new e-mountain bike was developed from a child's perspective not only so that children can now keep up with their motorized parents, but also to give our youngest a little more support on their trips. A gentle drive is used, which is intended to convey a natural and safe driving experience. In addition, the Woom children's e-mountain bike had to be particularly light so that the kids could handle it. Therefore, the weight was particularly important during development. As an additional feature, the motor and battery can be removed so that it can also be used as a sporty mountain bike.
"With the all-terrain e-bike, we want to give families the opportunity to expand their horizons and experience more joy and enjoyment outdoors together" - Woom CEO Christian Bezdeka
Woom clothing collection- Worn to be Wild
With the in-house Woom Worn to be Wild clothing collection, the aim is not only to offer children uncomplicated, stylish fashion with lots of clever details, in addition to a first-class bike. The functional cotton is water-repellent and windproof. The t-shirts are cut longer at the back than at the front to ensure a good fit. Humorous details such as zippers with bicycles round off the wild line. A special highlight is the Cinoterra Adventure jacket, which received the Eurobike Award. It has many pockets, sewn-in gloves and a hood that can be pulled over the helmet.
"Our goal is to create a bike world from a child's perspective and to convey the enthusiasm for cycling to as many young people as possible worldwide" - Woom CEO Marcus Ihlenfeld
