Cycling: The P&S Metalltechnik team is one of four German Continental teams at the Deutschland Tour. As the best team in the Bundesliga, the team automatically qualified through top performances. During the four-day tour, the drivers take turns sharing their experiences with us. Today Michel Aschenbrenner reports on yesterday's team presentation.
Michel Aschenbrenner: “That was really impressive”
“Yesterday's team presentation of the Deutschland Tour was divided into several sections. First, we were taken to an area where we were being photographed for the TV coverage. In this way, each driver can be visualized if, for example, he is part of a leading group. It was pretty cool overall. Then we all lined up on the street opposite the town hall and took a team photo together. Two kids then escorted us to the stage. It was all clocked really cool. We were exactly where we were supposed to be. That was really impressive.”
Michel Aschenbrenner: "A great feeling"
“When we stood next to the stage, we waited to be called. Then we went up. We could see the crowd of spectators. I couldn't believe how many people were here. That was pretty unusual for us. It's certainly commonplace for the pros, but for us it's really something special. It was just a great feeling to be up there. I really felt honored. That was a lot of fun.”
