MTB News: Reverse Components snowmilling, probably the world's only downhill series on snow, will stop at six stations in Austria next year. Last season, 324 drivers took part in the spectacle and this year the motto is again: anyone who doesn't shy away from a descent into the snow can take part.
Since 2016, the snow-milling downhill series has been making ski slopes all over Austria unsafe every winter. However, not skis and snowboards are popular, but downhill bikes! The world's only downhill series on snow enjoys great popularity - and of course the participants are very resilient. Compared to the downhill races in summer, however, the snow provides a sufficient buffer zone, but the grip leaves a little to be desired. In addition to angry tires, a good portion of drift skills are also required. Fun is definitely guaranteed at the races - and greats like Fabio Wibmer, Markus Pekoll or Vali Höll have not missed it in recent years. Anyone can take part, including hobby drivers. The Reverse Components 2019 snow-milling downhill series will stop at six stations in Austria from January to March, from the Wexl Trails in the east to Innsbruck in the west. Title sponsor Reverse Components will provide the goodies and non-cash prizes for the daily and series fastest.
