MTB News: Since 2016, the winter downhill racing series SNOWFRANK has combined spectacular snow races in Austria in one cup. Last winter, 450 bikers took on the special challenge, and the organizer expects an even greater response for the forthcoming edition. There are a total of seven dates on the program for 2020.

With an additional stop, the Austrian winter downhill racing series SNOW-FRANK will start the new snow season. It is not skis or snowboards that are popular in this cup, which has existed since 2016, but mountain bikes. Top stars such as Red Bull athlete Fabio Wibmer or the World Cup racers Andreas Kolb, Markus Pekoll and Vali Höll have already been able to immortalize themselves in the snow-milling lists of winners. At the last edition, Alicia Reynolds and Mario Schneeweiss took the overall victories. There are a total of seven dates in 2020, including two mass start races. The Ride Hard on Snow in Lienz marks the start on January 11th. The race on the Reiteralm will celebrate its premiere in February, and according to the organizer, skier cross elements will have an influence. The final stop at the White Fast Down in the Bikepark Semmering will be a mass start race and could therefore provide a lot of movement in the overall ranking of the winter downhill racing series.
