June 6, 2018 by Andrew Waldera

Spectrum: The family-friendly Heimatrausch Outdoor Festival in the Altmühltal Nature Park is entering its third round this year! From July 28th to 29th, visitors to Pappenheim can once again look forward to an extensive program with many popular sports. All guided trend sports can be tried out with just one ticket.

At the third edition of the family-friendly Heimatrausch Outdoor Festival in the Altmühltal Nature Park, visitors can once again look forward to a strong lineup of experiences with many activities. For this year's festival, the organizers were able to win new sports such as mountain boarding or diving. Of course, the program also includes mountain biking, archery and stand up paddling. Other highlights include canoeing, raft building, bouldering, skiking, slacklining, outdoor fitness, mermaiding, e-biking, driving technique training and night climbing in the forest. Of course, children also have the opportunity to try out a variety of activities. A special treat on Saturday evening is certainly spending the night in a tree tent with a view of the starry sky.

The Heimatrausch Outdoor Festival Ticket includes access to the festival site with all activities in the outdoor lineup as well as overnight accommodation on the campground. The ticket for the two days of the event costs 70 euros for adults and 13 euros for young people aged 17 to 55. Children up to the age of 12 have free access when accompanied by their parents. For day visitors there is also a day ticket for Saturday (50 euros/ 40 euros) including a supporting program in the evening.
