Team Lotto Kern-Haus: At the German Mountain Championships, which also belong to the Rad-Bundesliga, Jonasrutsch wins the U23 title and defends the purple jersey of the leader of the Bundesliga overall standings. On the following day at the Ore Mountains Tour, the team wins the team classification.
The Berg-DM was also a run of the Rad-Bundesliga and was held on an approximately seven-kilometer long and selective course around Langenweißbach. Jonasrutsch achieved an excellent fourth place and thus secured the championship title in the U23 class. He was also able to maintain his lead in the overall standings of the Rad-Bundesliga and stay in the purple jersey.
"Our goal was to keep the leader's jersey in the team. We managed to do that and we can be very satisfied with that, especially since Jonas also got the U23 championship jersey. We can't complain about the result," said team manager Florian Monreal.
The riders in the black and yellow jerseys were also able to impress in the third round of the Rad-Bundesliga, the Erzgebirgsrundfahrt. According to the tactical requirements, the focus was on Philipp Walsleben, because the P&S Team Thüringen wanted to win the race with their top driver and thus take over the overall ranking of the Bundesliga.
Accordingly, Jonasrutsch and Joshua Huppertz always stayed close to Walsleben and didn't let themselves be shaken off, while Dorian Lübbers, Tobias Knaup and Jan Hugger jumped into a breakaway early on, which Florian Nowak was later able to join.
In the final, Florian crossed the finish line in 5th place, Joshua in 6th place and Jonas in 9th place, one place ahead of Walsleben. Jonas defended the overall leader's purple jersey and now has 469 points (Walsleben 433 points). In the overall team standings, Team Lotto Kern-Haus was able to extend its lead with another day's win and now has 85 points (P&S Team Thüringen 76 points).
