Spectrum: Liv, as Giant's sister brand for the female sex, is certainly well known to many bikers, regardless of whether they are male or female. They are particularly proud of the fact that Liv is not just a marketing construct and the bikes are not just repainted men's models. Brand ambassadors like Leonie Narr play an important role in communicating with the drivers out there.
The currently 15 Liv Ambassadors should be the important and decisive link between dealers and end consumers. Each ambassador has a "basic dealer" with whom they organize events and/or trips together.

In the next few days, we would like to introduce you to some of the Liv Ambassadors, or to be more precise: let them have their say. Leonie Narr starts things off. The 22-year-old is at home on her mountain bike and organizes trips and events in south-west Germany.
Liv brand ambassador Leonie Narr about herself:
My name is Leonie Narr, I'm 23 years old and I come from a small village in the Swabian Alb. I am currently doing my Masters in Business Administration and Management. I got into cycling when I was 15 years old. My brother just grabbed me and dragged me into the forest to go biking. From that point on, it was all about me and cycling became my great passion.
[/ Quote]
I've been riding downhill since the beginning and over the years I've gotten into enduro. I've never found cycling on the road particularly interesting. For me personally, no place for cycling beats the small island of Madeira in Portugal. Technical stretches and flow – everything is just right there. In the early years I raced. However, this receded into the background during my bachelor's degree. In 2018, however, it is planned to compete in one or two races again - but fun is my top priority, because that's what cycling is all about for me.
[/ Quote]
For me, cycling combines many beautiful things. On the one hand you are outside... in the middle of nature and completely free to decide where to go. On the other hand, you can spend time with great people who tick like you do. For many of my now closest friends, it all started with going cycling together - two friendships even developed on my first ride for Liv. However, there are also setbacks from time to time... 2016 and last year in particular were tough for me. Two cruciate ligament tears, each with half a year of regeneration.”.

I came to Liv in early 2015 through a friend who ran a bike shop… I was hooked right away and have been a brand ambassador for Liv ever since. I organized small trips, events and driving technique training sessions that were exclusively for girls. In 2017, until my injury, I was cycling a lot... mainly in New Zealand and Madeira. Liv isn't just a women's brand - it's a brand by women for women. This allows Liv to better understand girls who ride bikes. Since such strong girls are also behind the brand. Girl power at its finest!
[/ Quote]
I ride the Liv Hail 1 myself and think the geometry and handling are great. So, girls: grab a bike, jump over your own shadow, dare and just have fun! My tip: Even if you end up in the dirt... don't give up! Get up and keep going!
