Spectrum: There is nothing that does not exist. This motto can also be confirmed time and again when it comes to bicycles. We have put together ten unique bikes for you that you absolutely must have seen. From custom-made products to lightweight and innovative constructions, everything is included.
1. Specialized Custom Designs by Aaron Miletich
For all racers and enthusiasts we have some Specialized S-Works models with exclusive paint jobs by Aaron Miletich. Our favorite is probably the reflective S-Works Venge Vias, which also glows in the dark. There is also a Specialized Shiv in an incredibly detailed Red Bull paint job.
2. A golden wheel by Goldgenie
If it can be something special again, why not a completely gold-plated bike?! That's exactly what you get at Goldgenie. The model you see in the pictures was gold-plated in 24K. There is also a high-quality suede saddle and sporty road bike tires. Since gold alone is not enough, the noble vehicle should also be set with diamonds and then be available from £250.000 (approx. €290.000).
3. The lightest wheel in the world

The weight of the bike has always been a sensitive issue and for many it is the only thing that matters. The weight limit for the pros is 6,8 kg and is primarily intended to ensure the safety of the riders, so that the wheels and components are sufficiently stable. Of course, lighter wheels are also possible. Gunther Mai and Fairwheel Bikes complemented each other and built a bike that weighed just 2,7 kg. Most are custom-made and one-offs designed and manufactured specifically for the lightweight project.
For comparison: The lightest bike you can buy is the AX Lightness VIAL Evo Ultra. It weighs almost twice as much as the above lightweight construction, namely 4,4 kilograms. The AX frame weighs just 660 grams and is of course made of full carbon. You can call this racer your own for a mere €15.000.
4. Bicymple - A minimalist innovation
Completely away from the topic of racing bikes, the Bicymple shows that it can also be done without much around it. The frame consists, if you will, of two forks and a double top tube. The drive is directly via the rear wheel, which is why no chain is necessary. The construction with only one brake on the front wheel is almost like a fixie. A cool idea, especially in the city.
5. The half wheel - Half a bike?
The half wheel is almost self-explanatory from the name. It looks almost like a unicycle and has a large main wheel and a smaller steering wheel at the front, which is connected to the handlebars. When riding, you sit very upright and keep your hands behind your back or saddle on the handlebars. Definitely something different. For €1.500, the half-wheel can be set up individually in the basic configuration.
6. The Linde Hydrogen bike
The subject of e-bikes is on everyone's lips and it is hard to imagine the market without it. Linde has followed the trend, albeit with a slightly different form of drive: hydrogen. A compact fuel cell replaces the usual battery and generates the required electricity from hydrogen and oxygen from the ambient air. The range should be 100 km and refueling takes only a few minutes. The CO2-Balance sheet of the Linde-H2-Bikes is therefore significantly better than the energy mix of the German mains electricity, as is used when charging a battery-powered pedelec. Maybe soon the future not only in the bicycle industry.
7. Lopfit - The Treadmill Bike
Lopifit is a combination of a treadmill and a bicycle with an electric motor. So you walk on this bike and set it in motion by walking. The motor supports the speed in such a way that you can keep up with normal bicycles. If it goes a bit downhill, you can also use this Lopifit in idle gear and just roll down the hill. The Lopifit has a 6-speed gear system and an idle gear that can be used downhill. The range of a battery charge is approx. 50 km. Provision should be made for every taste, because there are all color variants to choose from.
8. Audi Wörthersee - The e-bike with wheelie function
Audi's Wörthersee e-bike study is a trials and stunt bike made of carbon-reinforced plastic with a wide variety of drive modes and a wheelie mode for riding on the rear wheel, which is made possible by an extremely low center of gravity. A lithium-ion battery is integrated into the frame, and according to the manufacturer, it takes about 2,5 hours to fully charge the battery. With a total weight of almost 27 kg, you also need a lot of power, which the electric motor can provide with 2,3 KW. So it is also possible to get faster than 80 km/h.
9. Kwiggle - The compact stationary bike
The Kwiggle is an extremely compact folding bike. The size can be reduced by more than 60% compared to the unfolded state. Also, the shape of the Kwiggle offers a whole new riding position that is extremely upright. This gives you the opportunity to perform completely different movement sequences than with normal cycling.
10. PodRide - The e-bike car
Podride is an Ebike car. It sounds strange at first, but then it makes sense. The completely closed mobile with four wheels is powered by an EBike motor with an average support of 250 watts. But the interior is very reminiscent of a recumbent bike, which is covered and equipped with an electric motor. Podride is an interesting invention for those who prefer to lean back and still want to pedal a little.
