cycling: GP Cycliste de Montréal: Ulissi wins ahead of Herrada & Slagter

Cycling: Diego Ulissi (UAE) has just won the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal. The Italian was the fastest professional in a strong group in the final sprint.

The group broke away shortly before the finish and could not be brought back by Peter Sagan (Bora-hansgrohe), Greg Van Avermaet (BMC) and Michael Matthews (Sunweb). Second was Jesus Herrada (Movistar) ahead of Tom-Jelte Slagter (Cannondale-Drapac). Van Avermaet, Matthews and Sagan finished 7th, 8th and 9th.
