Archive: Review: Zemo ZE-11 1000

14 April 2017 by enrico

Test: With a double battery, the Zemo is hard to beat in terms of range. More than 180 km are possible, which makes the bike a good choice as a touring bike - especially since the stiff frame with welded carrier is well suited for luggage transport. The Zemo is by no means sluggish: With the Performance Line CX, the 25 km/h variant of the Bosch motor with the highest torque is on board; Everyday drivers can look forward to brilliant acceleration when the traffic light turns green. In addition, the drive supports up to 26 km/h; it is also pleasingly quiet. A high-quality suspension and the comfortable shape of the handlebars ensure comfort. The seating position is comfortable, but is only achieved by a "tower" of spacers under the stem - a longer head tube would be nicer.
