Test: As if to show what a wide range the urban segment encompasses, Drössiger is launching a model this spring that can pass as an e-mountain bike with coarse tires. But this bike is also highly competent in city traffic: the sitting position is pleasantly upright and offers a clear view, even if the handlebars could be bent a little more; the fork with 120 mm spring travel optimally buffers curbs and potholes. Shimano's long-range Steps motor, shown here in the version with more torque, enables brisk acceleration at traffic lights. The braking system is less aggressive than its 180 mm discs would suggest and can be dosed well. A lighting system is available as an option, so that the crossover bike can also be driven legally.
