The innovative and creative store concept of the company Rose Bikes is well received: in the middle of the week the flagship store Rose Biketown Bocholt was awarded the Stores of the Year Award 2017 in the category "Out of Line". The company, based in Bocholt, was able to receive the high award from the German Retail Association (HDE) for the second time. The multimedia concept store Biketown Munich, which opened in October 2014, was awarded the coveted prize two years ago.
The jury's decision in favor of the Rose Biketown Bocholt was justified with a staging of the bike that is unique in Germany. In the eyes of the jury, the customers can expect a "feel good program" on around 4000 m² of sales area, which leaves nothing to be desired. The expert bike advice, the possibility of a professional body measurement and the inviting community lounge were praised. The individual configuration of bicycles forms the central component of the flagship store. The special concept is characterized by the fact that the customer can start or end the individual assembly of the bike at any point of the customer journey, i.e. also at home on the laptop.
The Stores of the Year Award is presented annually by the German Retail Association in Berlin as part of the German Retail Real Estate Congress. This year the prize was awarded for the 13th time. Important criteria for the assessment include the degree of innovation, customer benefit, experience value and unique selling proposition. Rose Bikes managing director Thorsten Heckrath-Rose and store manager Werner Groß-Weege received the Stores of the Year Award 2017 in the category "Out of Line".
