Cycling / Market: With Katusha Sports, several new clothing lines were presented these days, which were designed and developed in cooperation with the Katusha professional team (from 2017: Katusha-Alpecin). Tony Martin's new team will start next season with a Swiss license - so it's no surprise that Katusha Sports is headquartered in Geneva.
Quite surprisingly, Katusha recently announced the launch of Katusha Sports: its own clothing brand, which will develop different product lines together with the team in the future. In addition to performance clothing for men and women, there is also an extensive commuter line.
Anyone who assumes that Katusha, like so many other teams, only wants to bring their own team replica to men and women is wrong: A look at the collection shows that there is a lot more choice here: The performance collection for men is in divided into Essential, Breakaway and Beyond categories. The Essential products are rather simple and reserved in design, whereas the dress of the other two categories should definitely attract attention. Katusha Sports uses Breakaway to describe the kits inspired by the designs of the pros, while Beyond wants to address the style-conscious cyclist who has no problem showing courage with colour. If you want, you can of course also find team replicas of Tony Martin and Co. at Katusha Sports.
But not only stylistically, there is also a lot of choice in terms of orientation. From the 3L rain jacket to winter jerseys, various shorts and jerseys to sports socks, you will find everything you need to dress from head to toe here. In terms of price, the products are on average in the upper range: €160 for the jersey and over €200 for the shorts are definitely an announcement.
In addition to the performance clothing, the commuter clothes are also exciting. Stylish shirts, functional jackets and hoodies and sporty shirts for cyclists in their free time. Merino wool is used in many products here and underlines the sporty character. All products in the Commuter Line are also intended for short trips on the bike: details such as integrated reflectors, longer zips and sporty cuts make cycling more comfortable and safer.
