Brompton World Championship: Le Mans style start
The Brompton World Championship competitions consist of three categories: women and men (under 60) in the individual ranking, women and men (over 60) also in the individual ranking and team ranking without subdivision into age groups. The circuit to be driven has a length of about two kilometers and leads over the Straße des 17. Juni. The participants have to complete seven laps on their Brompton folding bike. Only the first two winners of the men's and women's classes receive automatic starting rights in London. The start is spectacular in Le Mans Marnier: Before heading onto the track, the starters have to unfold their folding bikes!
