Market: The largest bicycle manufacturer in Great Britain follows up: After the first Black Edition was sold out within a few days at the beginning of the year, Brompton is now launching the second limited edition. Inspired by the idea of cycling in big cities at night, the Brompton Black Edition folding bike impresses with a very trendy, reduced look.
In the second Black Edition, too, the components in elegant matt black are eye-catching. As a bright contrast, the main frame is available in the bold colors Orange, Lime Green and Lagoon Blue. If you like it a little more subtle, you can also use the frame colors black and white. Equipped with 2 or 6 gears, the Black Edition is available in three models as S, M or H.
Of course, the limited edition has all the advantages of a Brompton folding bike. When folded, the pack size of the practical urban bike can be reduced to a third. The Brompton is also impressive in terms of weight: With an average weight of just 11 kilograms, the bike can be perfectly integrated into everyday urban life. Taking it with you on the train or in the car is no problem, nor is it a problem in a taxi. The limited edition is now available in all Brompton Junction stores and selected retailers.
A global competition for filmmakers who are enthusiastic about cycling was also initiated at the start of sales. In a 15-second video, participants are asked to focus on their hometown. The focus should be on insider tips and unknown places. The three best entries will each be rewarded with a specially made Brompton. The winner also beckons a trip to London and the opportunity to take part in the 2016 Brompton World Championship.
