General: Red Bull Joyride at Crankworx Whistler: Who Will Take the Slopestyle Crown?

Lifestyle: The slopestyle highlight of the year will take place in Whistler next weekend. The fourth and final slopestyle event of the FMB Diamond Series will be broadcast live on Red Bull TV.

With a double strike at the weekend, Brett Rheeder could become a living legend in front of his home crowd. The Canadian, who starts as a top favorite, is capable of both the Crankworx Triple Crown of Slopestyle and the early title as FMB World Champion. His compatriot Brandon Semenuk, who has already won this event three times, is also claiming the Crankworx Triple Crown of Slopestyle as his closest competitor.

But the title of FMB World Champion has not yet been awarded! With a deficit of only 500 points, the Belgian Thomas Genon could replace the Canadian as the overall leader. The winner of the event can get 1000 points on his account, so if Rheeder blunders and Genon scores full points, the surprise would be perfect. High-flyer Nicholi Rogatkin from the USA, 858 points behind the overall leader, will not miss the opportunity to score with a fantastic performance as well.

The rider line-up consists of 20 riders who belong to the crème de la crème of slopestyle sports. So it will definitely be exciting! Red Bull TV will broadcast the spectacle live on Sunday, August 16, from 01:30 a.m. (CEST).
