Cycling: The German-Danish duo Marcel Kalz and Alex Rasmussen was able to achieve a clear victory at the Bremen six-day race with 357 points and one lap ahead of Kneisky/Morkov in second place. The defending champions Lampater/Stroetinga had to settle for third place.
With the win, Marcel Kalz managed to get revenge impressively for last year's narrow defeat. However, the race remained exciting until the end. The Lampater/Stroetinga (Team Sparkasse) duo was the first to win a lap, but this was quickly recovered by the Leasing e-Bike Team Kneisky/Morkov. Up to this point there was still no sign of victory for the SWB Team Kalz/Rasmussen. However, 14 laps before the end of the race, the duo managed a spectacular race to catch up, which allowed them to catch up with the other two teams. Carried by an enthusiastic audience, the SWB team was able to maintain the sole lead over the last 666 meters.
