Track cycling: The Sixdays Bremen could hardly be more exciting. After day #3 of the six-day race, four teams are in the clear round. The favorite duo Kenny De Ketele and Theo Reinhardt took the lead for the first time. Leif Lampater and Lucas Liß also reported good news. The drivers who were neutralized the day before did their laps again today.
Sixdays Bremen: Another change in leadership
Pure excitement in the ÖVB Arena! At the Sixdays Bremen, four teams are actually in the clear round after the third day. The fifth duo is also only one lap behind. Thus, at the halfway point in the Bremen six-day race, five teams still have realistic chances of overall victory. After day #3, the duo Kenny De Ketele and Theo Reinhardt, who were already favored in advance, certainly have the best cards. The Belgian and the German dominated the big hunt and set an exclamation point. Despite this, they only just overtook Achim Burkart and Yoeri Havik, who had previously been in the lead.

Are Kneisky/Howard the laughing fifths?
If you believe the experts, in the end two of these four drivers will celebrate the overall victory. Behind them are Wim Stroetinga and Robbe Ghys, as well as Christian Grasmann and Jesper Mørkøv. With a lap down - but almost as many points as the leaders - Morgan Kneisky and Leigh Howard could still sprint past from the slipstream. The two decided the little hunt for themselves and thus remain in the race.
Eric Weispfennig: “Saturday night has not yet brought a final decision. The leading four teams are all in the clear round and have the best chances of winning the title.”
