Cycling: With Reutlingen, this year's German Fourcross Championship hosts one of the most demanding routes. On May 2nd, the new German Champion in Fourcross will be crowned in the small Swabian town.
The Reutlingen 4X route is one of the veterans of German mountain bike routes and has constantly evolved over the course of its existence. The early conversion from Dual to 4X was followed by another radical conversion to further raise the aspirations of the track. This seems to have been successful, because the Reutlingen 4X talent and 2-time reigning German champion Benedikt Last was brought to light on the Reutlingen course.
“I'm really happy that this year's Dm will be held on my home track. It certainly gives me an advantage, but it also puts me under a lot of pressure. Celebrating my third consecutive title here would be amazing.", so Last after the announcement of the organizer.
The nomination for the German championship is now another challenge and deserved reward for the troops from the Reutlingen tank site. Unfortunately, last year's race was literally flooded with rain and the race had to be held as a meadow slalom. Therefore, no official competition has yet been held on the converted route.
