Cycling: The Lapierre Gravity Republic Team is one of the most successful teams in the Downhill World Cup. This year they were joined by Aaron Bartlett, who captured the entire season on film. The result: A Life Worth Winning.
The year didn't quite go according to plan for the team. After Loic Bruni established himself as a consistent top 10 rider last year, the wait for his first World Cup victory was in vain. The fast Frenchman often had everything together, but he lacked the last bit of luck. In Leogang he was the last to leave the track and was clearly ahead in the meantime. However, he fell in the last part of the route and was denied a podium once again.
Things went better for junior Loris Vergier. He clinched the overall World Cup victory for the second time and crowned his season with the rainbow jersey in Hafjell/Norway.
