Cycling: 21 Alpine passes, over 884 kilometers and no less than 19.132 meters in altitude make the TOUR Transalp Europe's most spectacular stage race for road racers. Registration for the race for amateur cyclists will be open from December 02nd.
The TOUR Transalp leads from Sonthofen to Lake Garda in Italy in seven daily stages. For the first time in the 13-year history of the TOUR Transalp, Davos in Switzerland will be integrated into the tour as a stage location. Since its inception, the Transalp has guaranteed powerful climbs and long descents - over a period of one week! Passes like Passo Gavia and Passo Mortirolo will take their toll on the 2015 Tour. The stage race across the Alps starts in teams of two in five different categories. The starting signal for the spectacle will be on June 28, 2015. However, those who want to be part of the TOUR Transalp powered by Sigma should not wait too long. The number of participants is limited to 1200 starters.
