Holy blood

Lifestyle: In July 2015 the Grossglockner Duathlon will celebrate its premiere. The combination of bike race and Glockner run is intended to attract numerous motivated athletes.

After 1345 meters of altitude, the goal is reached directly below the Großglockner, the roof of Austria. On the second day, the Glockner run has to be completed. The mountain run also starts in Heiligenblut. Off the beaten track, forest trails take you to Austria's highest mountain. The athletes cover 12,9 kilometers and 1494 meters in altitude.
