Cycling: Italy's Giorgia Bronzini (Wiggle-Honda) topped Marianne Vos (Rabo Liv) and local hero Lizzie Armitstead (Boels Dolmans) at the Prudential RideLondon Classic.
On the Mall in the heart of London, Bronzini once again proved that she is one of the fastest women in the world. Launched by her teammates, she managed to intercept Vos in the final meters.
Bronzini's teammate Laura Trott won last year on the course where Vos won Olympic gold two years ago. This time the Brit started the sprint for the Italian.
